The ability to recognise patterns, make deductions through logical reasoning and have good number sense are some of the essential skills required for Mathematical Olympiad competitions. This book is designed for primary school pupils and contains topics that help pupils develop their competency in tackling challenging and non-routine problems.

Each of the first 18 chapters begins with and Overview, followed by detailed Worked Examples and tips to facilitate guided learning. The Let’s Practise sections, that follows after the Worked Examples, provides a wide variety of non-routine problems to allow pupils to hone their problem-solving skills.

5 sets each of P5 Mathematical Olympiad Practice Papers and P6 Mathematical Olympiad Practice Papers are specially designed for Primary 5 and 6 pupils to provide them with ample practice for various Primary Mathematical Olympiad competitions. Each set of practice paper contains 30 questions that cover a wide range of topics and questions styles that are typically set during Mathematical Olympiad competitions. By practising a diverse range of mathematical problems, pupils will build up their confidence in tackling questions in the Mathematical Olympiad competitions.
